'Smuggler' caught with cash taped to body in China
An unusual video has emerged form China showing the lengths an alleged smuggler went to in order to hide currency on his person.
The footage, filmed in Guangdong Province last year, shows the suspect after his arrest with huge quantities of cash apparently taped to his body.
According to local reports the man is accused of trying to smuggle 580,000 US dollars from Hong Kong into mainland China. The law requires foreign currency to be be declared, with a limit of $5,000 for US dollars, at customs. The footage has only recently emerged.
