In a scintillating incident in central India's Madhya Pradesh on August 24, a thief spilled out cases of seven thefts as the police investigated one. The incident took place in Jabalpur.

Visuals show the confiscated gold and silver jewelry laid out on a table in clear bags. Different ornaments lie in different packets and later, the police officials reveal the details of the case.

Police officials from the Vijaynagar area were reportedly tipped off about a boy living on the footpath near Deendayal Chowk, who was wearing expensive clothes, spending money unnecessarily, and using an expensive mobile phone. On this, the police began an investigation and caught the 19-years-old accused, Rakesh Maravi, who claimed to be a resident of Kindrai village in Seoni district.

The investigation led to the confiscation of stolen gold and silver jewelry worth Rs 5 lakhs (USD 6,734), Android mobile phones worth Rs 25 thousand (USD 336), and a knife used in an assault.

He was then brought to the police station where he agreed to commit all the thefts. He was arrested and sent to jail. Moreover, keeping in view the criminal record, his criminal history sheet is being monitored continuously.
