Cape Town CBD homeless left to brave the elements as City confiscates tents
The City of Cape Town Municipal Police confiscated tents and other structures from homeless persons in the Cape Town Central Business District.
The affected persons claim that the City advised them about the move and they were originally told it will happen on Friday.
Homelessness has increased around Cape Town following the economic downturn brought by the Covid Pandemic.
