A group of puppies were captured sharing food given by their owner with their mother in eastern China.

The heartwarming video, filmed in the city of Jinhua in Zhejiang Province on August 21, shows a 1-month-old Beagle passing a meat stick to its mother through a gate.

The dog's owner Ms Xu said she made some meat sticks for the puppies to grind their teeth but later she found the meat sticks had disappeared.

As the puppies would not be able to bite the meat sticks, Xu thought the mother dog might have stolen them. However, she later found that the puppies shared the treats with their mother.

Xu said she was touched by the dogs' actions.

8月21日，浙江金华。徐女士做肉条给家里快俩月大的小比格犬们当磨牙棒，因为狗崽和狗妈是被围挡分开的，所以狗妈吃不到。之后肉条竟然越来越少，徐女士觉得很奇怪，因为小狗也咬不动，甚至怀疑是狗妈妈自己跑出来偷吃了。经过观察后才发现，原来是狗崽主动叼着肉条喂狗妈。徐女士说，视频里只是其中一条小狗喂妈妈的画面，其实还有其它小狗也给妈妈叼了肉条。看到这一幕的徐女士也颇有感触，原来动物也有它们的孝心。（视频由金华台提供）
