A pack of hungry monkeys raided a homeowner in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and refused to leave until they were fed bananas.

The homeowner attempted to chase away the primates but the animals refused to leave.

Footage from August 10 shows the homeowner feeding the monkeys a bunch of bananas.

The homeowner said that the monkeys frequently visit the area in search of food and raid the house to satisfy their hunger.

A group of hungry primate raided a house in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh in search of food on August 10.

The house owner who saw the groups inside their home premises were alarmed and tried to chase away the apes but the adamant and hungry monkeys didn't leave until they were offered some food.

The owner who guessed that the monkeys might be hungry then brought some bananas from inside and distributed it among them.

The house owner said that the monkey frequent the area for food and would raid inside house to satisfy their hunger.

They would even steal away cooked meals or sit atop a tree and eat away all the fruits wasting almost 30 percent of it.

It is usually difficult to drive them away empty handed.
