An SUV was washed away by a torrent of muddy water as intense rain wreaked havoc in northern India's Uttarakhand on August 25.

Video shot in Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar shows an empty white SUV being swamped by floodwaters, to the shock of onlookers.

The car then gets dragged away by the flood, floating along with the stream of water.

Later, a herd of bulls waits for the water to pass so they can get to dry ground.

he India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand.

The car belonged to Narendra Kumar, who was staying at a hotel in Haridwar.

His vehicle was swept as far as the Kangra Ghat. Fortunately, local cops alerted the water police, who extracted it from the floodwaters.

Moreover, the car belonged to Narendra Kumar while he was staying at a hotel in Haridwar. However, his vehicle got swept with the river current and got washed away till the Kangra Ghat. Fortunately, cops alerted the water police, and they extracted the car from within the raging stream.
