This clip shows the aftermath of the US drone strike that was launched on Saturday (August 28) in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province.

The strike was carried out in response to the suicide bombing attack that killed 170 people, including 13 US military, on August 26, outside Kabul airport.

According to local sources, the US strike hit a house in a densely populated area housing two families.

Footage shows a crater at the site of the impact and a vehicle damaged by the explosion. The clip also features images of a damaged house.

Residents heard the heavy explosion at around 2 am on Saturday.
At 9 am they learned that an airstrike had hit a house in the city.

Neighbors are claiming that a seven-year-old child, a woman, and a man were killed in the strike. Another woman was seriously injured.

Residents are also claiming that Islamic State’s members that the US strike killed, had no contact with their neighbors, and were living on their own.

Capt Bill Urban of Central Command said: "Initial indications are that we killed the target. We know of no civilian casualties."
