A one-and-a-half-year-old Indian child who inexplicably got his head stuck inside a pressure cooker is brought to the hospital by his parents.

He desperately cries. Doctors and nurses around him console and reassure him while they try their best to remove the pot from his head with their hands.

At one point, they realise that the child's head is completely stuck, so they decide to use a grinder to dismantle the pot.

Footage shows the medical team, led by Dr. Farhat Khan, cutting the pressure cooker in half.

The family of the child said they don't have a clue about how the little boy’s head got stuck in the pot.

The child sustained minor wounds when his parents attempted to pull off the pressure cooker, but he is now doing well.

The clip was filmed at the SM Charitable Hospital in the city of Agra, India's Uttar Pradesh, on August 28.

The Family of the child said they don't have any clue how the boy’s head got stuck in the pressure cooker. We tried our best to remove the utensil from the boy’s head with no succes. The family rushed the boy who was in pain to Nearest SM Charitable Hospital.

The Hospital authorities were shocked when they saw the unusual case. The hospital Authorities gave emergency medical treatment to the child, who had sustained superficial wounds when his parents attempted to pull off the pressure cooker.

A team of Doctors lead by Dr Farhat Khan's proceeded to remove the pressure cooker stuck from the patient’s head.

After several hours of painstaking effort and without causing any further injuries to the child’s head, the medical team succeeded in removing the pressure cooker by cutting it open with a glider machine. The boy was handed over to his parents.
