Thousands of anti-vaxxers marched through the Greek city of Thessaloniki on Sunday (August 29) to voice their anger at mandatory jabs for healthcare workers that come into effect from September 1.

Huge crowds from all over northern Greece gathered in the city of Thessaloniki to protest the government move they say violates their individual freedoms.

From next month anyone working in the public healthcare sector will be suspended if they have not had at least one COVID-19 jab.
