Watch an awesome close encounter with a wild echidna beside a rural road in Queensland, Australia.

The creatures are unusual to say they least. They have spines, a long beak, a pouch like a kangeroo, four-headed penises, and lay eggs.

The mammals are also sometimes called a spiny anteaters and are native to Australia, Tasmania, and New Guinea.

Footage shot on 19 July showed the animal digging a hole then walking off.
