Residents managed to rescue a cat that was stranded on the roof of a high-rise building in Cherkasy, Ukraine.

Footage filmed from a building adjacent shows the residents trying to lure the cat into a basket so they could pull it to safety.

After a few nudges, the feline hops into the container as it hauled to safety.

This footage was filmed on August 29.

Residents of one of the high-rise buildings in the city of Cherkassy organized a real rescue operation for the cat.

The cat jumped onto the cornice and could not get back to the roof on its own. To remove the animal, the man tried to lure him into a bucket. However, this turned out to be not so easy. In the end, everything ended well, no one was hurt.
