A clever pet dog helped with a house construction by mixing cement in the Philippines.
The Aspin pooch named Whitie was seen using his snout to push gravel and cement into the water as his owners built their new home in Nueva Ecija province, the Philippines on August 9.
His owner Bennilyn Danao said the smart dog might have tried to imitate what the workers were doing as it wanted to help them.
He said: ‘Whitie saw them mixing cement the other day. When they had to do it again the dog stepped in to help while everyone was out for lunch break.
‘My pet also guards the galvanised iron sheets that we will be using for our house. We want to have him cut the ribbon at our house blessing.’
