'Gripping footage emanating from London, Ontario, Canada shows something unusual that could have turned very unfortunate.
Filmed on Andrew Tillie's car's dashcam, this video features a vehicle with a hood that is anything but properly latched.
It was only a matter of time before the hood flew open, putting everyone and everything in the vicinity of the white truck at risk.
"Yes, that's a lesson for everyone out there: Always make sure to latch your hood," the filmer, Andrew Tillie wrote. "I'm very impressed by the great and timely reaction by the driver, otherwise it could have been a lot worse. Drive Safe!"
