In a brave attempt, the Indian Army foiled infiltration attempts in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir on August 31. The incident took place around the Line of Control in the Poonch sector, where two militants have been killed.

Visuals feature all the arms and ammunition recovered from the terrorists including an AK-47, a hand grenade, and others. Their identity cards have been snatched and Pakistani currency of various denominations is laid out clearly.

The inputs were reportedly provided by intelligence agencies and police regarding possible infiltration attempts at the Line of Control.

Following this, the militants, armed with ammunition, started heavy firing. To this, the soldiers retaliated and killed two terrorists. The operation now continues to go on in the area.
