On 1 September Indian Railway started to run a new express train with state-of-the-art features between Rajendranagar Terminal and New Delhi.

The so-called 'Tejas' coaches on the new Rajdhani Express train will have safety features novel to trains in India, like doors that are controlled centrally and which prevent trains running until they are all securely shut.

Coaches will also have CCTV cameras and screens to display important information, as well as toilet odour sensors, fire detection systems, and mobile charging points, among other features.

The Indian Railway has started to run the premier Rajendranagar Terminal-New Delhi, Rajdhani Express train with the state-of-the-art Tejas coach rakes equipped with hi-tech safety and comfort features.

The existing LHB rakes of the Patna Rajdhani will be converted into the ultra-modern Tejas rakes.
These rakes will be equipped with automatic plug indoor system. Under this, all the entrance gates will be controlled centrally and the train will not run till all the entrance gates are closed,

There will be CCTV cameras in each coach and also two LCD screens to display important information such as next station, expected arrival and departure times, delay if any and security related messages to the passengers. People's has so much excited for traveling by Tejas.
