In this episode, we have come to Alexandra Village Food Centre to try out some Michelin Guide food stores hidden in the rows of food store here.

The store is prepared by a couple that is in love with Cantonese Soups. They always have a soup in every meal is just like wine and pizza. No Cantonese dining table is complete without a bowl of piping hot nutritious soup.

In this store, all the soups are made from scratch with no MSG, all the ingredients are selected carefully for its nutritive and health benefits. Like for ladies they can consider the Brazil Mushroom with Chicken for their skin, and for the hot weather in Singapore the Spare Ribs with Mushroom is good for "cooling".

The hawker life is hard in Singapore as they need to spend a significant amount of time standing and away from their sons and daughter. Some even need to wake up really early as 6am to get started on cooking and preparation. But what keeps them motivated is the smile and appreciation of the customer, seeing the customer enjoying their soup with smiles.
