A rhino calf that was swept away by floodwater in Kohora, Assam, was rescued by officials.

Officials grabbed the calf from the banks of a river in Kaziranga National Park and wrapped the distressed calf in blankets.

The 10-day-old animal was brought to the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) for further treatment by the forest officials.

It was then rescued and brought to the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) Rescue Center for further treatment by the forest officials.
