Mass vaccination was carried out at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters of the South Sulawesi Police, Jalan KS Tubun, Makassar, Indonesia, Friday, September 3, 2021 morning. The targets are the community, students, beggars and people with disabilities.

Especially for the disabled and beggars, dozens of beggars were deliberately brought in to get the Covid-19 vaccine. They take their children with them when they are vaccinated.

The South Sulawesi Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Merdisyam said in an interview, "Today the mass vaccination was carried out by batch 95 from alumni of the Indonesian Police Academy and held at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters of the South Sulawesi Police.

We have prepared a target of 2,000 vaccines today. But we see that the public's interest is so extraordinary that we will carry out until tomorrow with 3,500 vaccines.

The target is, the community from schools and Islamic boarding schools for readiness to face face-to-face schools. In addition, there are also people with disabilities who we vaccinate. Because on average they have difficulties. So we also cooperate with the Civil Registry Service. Even if they don't have an Identity Card (KTP) we will immediately make one," said Merdisyam. (*)
