Giant python preys on hyena amid bushes, gets rescued in central India
A spine-chilling incident came to the fore in which a wildlife creature strayed itself into the human world to get a snack in central India's Madhya Pradesh on September 3. The incident took place in Padwar village, located in Banda Tehsil of Sagar district.
Visuals feature the snake resting near a puddle amid a field while a massive group of locals gathers around. The giant python slithers on the ground after coiling around its prey, unbothered by the attention as the curious onlookers stand at a safe distance and behold the experience. Fortunately, the rescuers arrive and grab the reptile with their bare hands to confine it inside a sack, ensuring the safety of the locals.
As monsoon arrived in the region, the area witnessed incessant rainfall, throwing life into disarray. In the light of that, the python strayed from its burrow and emerged near civilization. However, Sitaram Choudhury, who went to his field to harvest the crops heard some noise and saw the python preying on the hyena. He further alerted the forest officials while the serpent expert, Akeel Baba, rushed to the spot and rescued the creature, freeing the prey from the fangs of its predator. Furthermore, both the creatures were taken to Sagar for further examination.
