In a major accident, an uncontrolled truck overturned in central India's Madhya Pradesh on Saturday September 4.

The incident unfolded on National Highway 26 (NH-26) near Chitora in Sagar.

Visuals feature the massive vehicle lying overturned on the road. Roadside tea stalls and shops lie crushed under its force. The distressed owners express their grief while the driver is nowhere to be found.

Local police officials from the Surkhi police station rushed to the spot and removed the vehicle via a crane. The driver was reportedly in an inebriated state when he lost control of his vehicle and collided. Meanwhile, a complaint has been lodged by the owners of the damaged shops in regards to the loss.
