India's 2 nd President Dr.Radhakrishnan was a teacher, philosopher and politician who dedicated his life to betterment of the education in India. His birthday is celebrated as teachers day remembering his great work for the education in society. A 9 year old boy showed his love for Dr.Radhakrishnan by making his portrait art with the native rice varieties of Teachers day. The reason why he chose to do the art with grains of rice is to show the plight of the farmers in India to the world. A portrait was made with 200 kilograms of rice grains in 360 square feet area.
