This footage was filmed and produced 4 September 2021.

Tensions in Cetinje are growing ahead of the enthronement of Metropolitan Joanikije of Montenegro and the Littoral, which should be held tomorrow in the Cetinje Monastery. Montenegrin national organizations, associations and almost all opposition parliamentary parties, which demanded that the act be performed in another city, strongly oppose this.

Cetinje residents took to the streets today to protest the events in their city, especially the barricades set up around the Cetinje Monastery, from the large parking lot near the Summer Stage to the Government House, despite the fact that the Communal Police did not issue a permit. The fences have been removed and the barrier is held by a police cordon.
