This footage was filmed and produced 4 September 2021.

Applicants to the University of San Marcos, 470 years old, took their entrance exam in the Olympic stadium of the same university with capacity for 60 thousand people. The Peruvian health authorities accepted that the test be in person only if it was carried out in a large place, which allows good ventilation and social distance between students, this before an imminent third wave of COVID-19 in the South American country.

Two applicants share their thoughts on this event.
"I'm a little nervous about the change, I'm taking the exam for the first time, but everything is going well, very organized. I prefer the face-to-face exam to the virtual one, and most students also prefer it". Ana Ruiz, applicant.
"I think it's much better if it is in person, because the last virtual exam that was (last year) had a lot of violations and a lot of complaints. I believe that with the measures that the university has taken, it will be possible to pass the exam (safely)". Elisabeth Araujo, applicant.
