A group of devotees got stranded during their temple visit when the region got flooded in central India's Madhya Pradesh on September 6. The incident took place in Sirsod village, located in the Shivpuri district.

Visuals feature the locals trying to cross over to safety amid the gushing floodwater. They cling onto a rope and use its support to walk from one side to the other. Meanwhile, curious onlookers gather around and behold the experience.

A drain in the region flooded, trapping several devotees in an inundated street after the area received incessant rainfall. However, the locals, including women and children, bravely faced the situation and calmly crossed over.
