Meet Sigrid, the kitty who loves cycling around London from the comfort of her own personal basket
Head-turning kitty Sigrid loves nothing more than whizzing around the sights of London in the comfort of her own personal cycle basket.
Four-year-old Norwegian forest cat Sigrid is owner Travis Nelson's constant travel companion. The pair have travelled over 900 miles so far.
Travis, 45, started taking Sigrid or 'Sigi' on rides across the city after he was made redundant in 2020.
And the fearless feline took the activity immediately complete with her own basket, a safety harness - and even a stylish pair of cycling goggles.
This incredible 'cat's eye view' of the city shows them traveling through Camden town, The River Thames, Leicester Square and even Abbey Road, where the famous Beatles' album cover was taken.
Travis, a software engineer, said: "Since I've always taken Sigrid out on walks with me, it seemed natural to bring her on the bike too! She took to it right away.
"We've been making videos steadily since December of last year, all around London. Sigi is probably the most well traveled cat in London. She has about 900 miles on the bike as of now.
"Probably my all time favourite is when we were testing out her goggles. Mainly because it's just so ridiculous and really shows her intrepid nature, and partially because it's by far our most viral video with over a million views just on my account, and one or two million views in other places."
