A man's life was dangling by a thread until his saviors arrived at his rescue in central India's Madhya Pradesh on September 8. The incident took place in Betwa river in Orchha in Niwari district.

Visuals feature the gushing stream of water sweeping away the hapless man while the sky turns dark in the backdrop. Fortunately, the officials arrive and help the man reach the shore with the help of a rope and a lifebuoy. Following this, the man reaches the mainland while the cops tend to him and provide him safety.

The victim, identified as Virendra Sharma, hailing from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh, was having the best time of his life while exploring the river in Orchha when he accidentally slipped and plunged inside the waterbody. Fortunately, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rushed to the spot and rescued him safely.
