This is the heart-warming moment a music loving special needs toddler was filmed singing along to his favourite Phil Collins song as well as 'air drumming' the famous interlude
Isaac Kearney, 3 from Liverpool, UK is well known for his musical talents after a moving video of him channelling Whitney Houston went viral in early 2021.
The talented tot was born with the rare genetic disorder Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, leaving him to develop slower than other kids his age, but Mom Melissa proudly proclaims he’d had no problem copying his heroes.
An incredible new video shows Isaac on a car ride merrily singing along to the Phil Collins classic ‘In The Air Tonight’. Isaac seems to know every word and even drums along to the famous pre chorus interlude.
Melissa says it’s now her dream to take Isaac to a Phil Collins concert.
Mom Melissa Kearney, 29 a Health Care assistant from Liverpool said:
“This video was taken on 25th August on our way home from a long day of shopping in Liverpool town centre. Isaac had actually fell asleep in the car on the way home and his song ‘in the air tonight’ come on the radio.”
“Straight away his eyes wide open and started singing along so I got my camera out. He was half asleep on the video, but nothing was stopping him perform his favourite song.”
“His dad was driving in the front so missed the whole performance, but we’ve watched it that many times it’s the ‘norm’ for us. I was just videoing to show his nanny and grandad when we got home.”
“I always do that when Isaacs performing, I video it because he loves going to ‘nanny’s house’ and watching it back with his nan and grandad.”
“Isaac absolutely loves watching Phil Collins on YouTube play his drums and sing. He would be delighted if he saw him perform live. I can just picture him now with his drum actions watching Phil live”
“Isaac is the most fun, outgoing, brave, clever, caring, cheekiest little boy. He lives for music. He will chat to anyone, and he comes out with the funniest little phrases to make people laugh.”
This video was filmed on the 24th August 2021.
