Peahen and its five chicks were rescued safely from a well in south india
Location: Usilampatti, Madurai district of Tamilnadu State, South India.
A pea hen and it's five chicks unexpectedly fell into the well. Passersby heard the sound of the pea hens and chicks peeped into the well and saw them shouting for help. Then they alerted the forest department and the rescue team.
They rushed to the spot and tied rope around them and went inside the well and rescued the pea hens and it's five chicks.
The birds were then handed over to the forest department staffs. They checked for its health and left the mama and the babies in the safer place of the forest.
