On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, a teenage boy built idols of Lord Ganesha using matchsticks in eastern India's Odisha on September 9. The event took place in Kumbharapada in Puri.

Visuals feature the young boy dedicating his precious time to create the model of miniature Lord Ganesha in his house. Following this, he works on his project and assembles the matchsticks in precise order. After fixing all the minor details of the model, he sets up the entire component and displays it outside for public view.

The young artist, identified as Saswat Ranjan Sahoo, prepared a miniature model of Lord Ganesha with 5,621 matchsticks. The height of the model is 23-inch, and the width is 22-inch while it took him nearly eight days to build the model.
