Pro-abortion activists hold a rally in Chicago to protest Texas' restrictive abortion law.

Demonstrators from Planned Parenthood Chicago, a nonprofit organisation providing sexual health care, took to the streets against a new law in Texas banning abortions from as early as six weeks into pregnancy.

With Margaret Atwood’s book “The Handmaid’s Tale" becoming an international symbol of protest, many dressed as handmaids and carried signs reading: "My body, my choice".

A smaller number of anti-abortion protesters stood in opposition.

The clip was filmed on September 10 at Federal Plaza in downtown Chicago.
