CCTV footage of Nagpur railway station in India's Maharashtra shows a man trying to jump inside a moving train and losing his balance.

The man almost falls onto the tracks. He gets dragged underneath the moving train.

Luckily, the security personnel intervention was prompt. The man is rescued by a railway officer.

The incident was filmed on September 9.

A man's life was crippled in front of his eyes while falling from a moving train in western India's Maharashtra on September 9. The incident took place at the Nagpur station.

CCTV footage features the passenger with a bag on his back attempting to board the moving locomotive, following which he jumps inside the compartment. Unfortunately, he loses balance and slides down in the gap between the train and the platform, posing a threat to life as he gets dragged along the coach. Luckily, an alert railway cop rushes and pulls the passenger to safety to avoid any tragedy.

In a life-saving act, the on-duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable, identified as Munesh Gautam, showed vigilance and rescued the citizen who got dragged along the moving compartment while boarding it at the railway station.
