Elephants spotted enjoying bath time near lake in Sri Lanka
The magnificent view of an elephant herd bathing in the lake will leave you in awe of emotions in Sri Lanka's Mahakanadarawa Wewa on September 6. The incident took place in Mihintale in Anuradhapura District.
Visuals feature the pair of elephants playing with the water enclosed by the forest to beat the heat in the region. After a while, they playfully engage with one another, splashing water with their trunks, and nuzzle each other while merrily rolling and taking a walk outside the lake.
The elephants in the region are known for straying off their corridors to look for food. They often approach the lake to have a good time while taking a tour of the area, making locals familiar with such instances.
