Chinese worker climbs 4 floors to rescue boy hanging from window
A repair worker climbed four floors barehanded to rescue a boy hanging from a window in eastern China.
The video filmed in the city of Liaocheng in Shandong Province on September 11 shows a 57-year-old man climbing up a residential building to reach a boy hanging from the third-floor window.
He then stood on the second-floor security bars to hold the boy for around 10 minutes until his parents and firefighters entered the flat.
Firefighters then cut off a bar and lifted the boy up to bring him back to safety. They then attached the safety ropes to the 57-year-old and pulled him into the flat.
Fortunately, the boy was not injured seriously.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
