Man sets up God's idol inside miniature local train in western India

Amid the challenging times in the country, a man initiated a unique way to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi in western India's Maharashtra on September 12. The incident took place in Ghatkopar west in Mumbai.

Visuals feature Lord Ganesha's statue placed between the locomotive that resembles a local train and is created especially for the festive occasion. Besides, God's bright idol is adorned with several objects and painted with vibrant colors to celebrate the festival. Meanwhile, the entire area is vacant and decorated with multiple flowers.

Rahul Varia, hailing from Ghatkopar, inaugurated Lord Ganesha's statue in the miniature handmade local train built just to keep the idol and to begin with the festivities in Mumbai, as for the past eight months, the services of the train had been called off due to the rising cases of Covid-19. However, the services are open for those travelers who have received their second dose of vaccination.
