Dramatic dashcam footage has emerged from China of a loose tyre rolling down a highway before hitting two cars.

In the video, captured in Hubei Province earlier this month, the tyre strikes the bonnet of one car and the rear door of another, before rolling to a stop on the hard shoulder.

The tyre had come loose from a large articulated lorry just a few moments before.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
