The man on a mission, Bodhgaya-resident Vivek Kumar kalyan "Siddhartha Compassion Trust ( Ngo)", has helped save the lives of over several villages patients in home isolation in the state capital and other parts of Bihar so far by providing oxygen cylinders free of cost.

People hardly know him by his real name in Bihar, but one mention of the 'oxygen man' and he is instantly recognised as the life-saver for critically ill COVID-19 patients in times of severe shortage of oxygen supply.

Vivek Kumar said When we visited any villages then can't understand which types of problems effected about villager people's.
These People's belong to very poor families so they can't afford money for treatment for traveling. thats way many people's has died without treatment. Our org has supported these People's free of cost oxygen cylinder then they save the life.

"In the current spell of the second wave, several oxygen cylinders have been provided to those in extreme need of these in Bodhgaya itself,"

At a time when hospitals are turning away COVID-19 patients due to shortage of beds and oxygen cylinders, Kalyan has come across as an 'angel' for the distressed, said several patients who have got a new lease of life owing to his efforts
