Talented dog that learned how to bodyboard! When we adopted Abby she was fearful of people as she was severely abused and neglected prior to us adopting her. Abby was set for euthanasia just days before my family rescued her!
Abby was shut down. Depressed, anxiety and her spirit was broken.
Abby is a lab mix, most people know labradors love water. Not Abby, she was afraid of it. To help gain her confidence, I taught Her how to bodyboard in the pool. She’s so intelligent it only took two days for her to learn how to balance on the board and three days to learn how to shift her weight to make to the board move in the direction she wanted to go! Good doggo!
Abby bodyboards everyday in the Summer, entertaining all of the neighbors and children.
