First Geomagnetic Storm - Aurora Borealis Display - Of the New Solar Cycle UK
DSLR time lapse of the first significant aurora borealis display of solar cycle 25 captured on Friday night September 17th/18th 2021 from Magheracross viewing point near Portrush, N. Ireland. This was a G2 geomagnetic storm, despite a bright moon in the sky we could see twin green bands and greed and red beams reaching 40 degrees high. This is a time lapse captured using two cameras, a full frame and crop sensor with fast wide angle lenses, rendered at 1080p HD.
