4K : adorable marmots in fresh snow, surprise snow before they go hibernate in swiss Alps
with snow falling in the swiss Alps today sunday 19 sept. 2021 above 2000m elevation , marmots are seen in fresh snow. They will soon be going into hibernation for the winter but cold air arrived early and it snowed already. This was at Sanetsch lake in the swiss Alps at about 2070m elevation.
several high mountain passes such as Nufenen, Grimsel, Furka were closed today because of the snow.
