Cargo ship runs aground in Black Sea en route to Varna, Bulgaria

A Turkish-owned motor vessel ran aground near Bulgarian nature reserve Yailata on the Black sea coast. The 83-meter-long motor vessel VERA SU hit the rocks near the popular park in Bulgaria. There are no spill or injuries reported for the moment.

According to marinetraffic.com, the ship left the port of Yuzhne in the Ukraine on September 18 for Varna, Bulgaria.

The vessel is flying Panamian flag and is owned by a Turkish company, according to the Equasis maritime register.

The crew are sailors from Turkey and Azerbaijan, the ship's master is
Turkish.
