Orphaned albino elephant calf, Khanyisa, enjoys a drink of water from the hosepipe
Khanyisa is an orphaned albino elephant rescued in January 2020 from a poacher’s snare. She came to Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development (HERD) and went through three months of rehabilitation for the horrific wounds caused by the snare.
Khanyisa has always loved water and can be seen in this video enjoying a fresh drink of water directly from the hosepipe.
