Khanyisa the orphaned albino elephant was rescued from a poacher's snare in January 2020 and came to Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development for rehabilitation and care. Since going through three months of rehabilitation for the horrific wounds caused by the snare, Khanyisa has been integrated into the Jabulani herd of rescued elephants and now spends her days out in the wild with them.

This video was filmed in the early days of Khanyisa's integration with the herd. She runs up with excitement to Sebakwe, who is a little nervous at first, but soon settles down. Sebakwe is an amazingly gentle and calm bull, who also happens to be the face of Amarula!
