The Jabulani herd of elephants consists predominantly of orphaned and rescued elephants who now spend their days out in the wilderness with their carers, who ensure that they are safe. This unique herd of elephants accepts orphans that are not related by blood and accepts them as family.

Tokwe is the matriarch of this special herd and can be seen in this video enjoying eating a branch. Elephants are designed to digest large amounts of roughage, making this branch a great snack for the elephant.
