Are you ready for this jelly? Ruthless sea creature attacks and swallows its prey
An interesting clip shows the moment a cigar comb jelly hunts down and swallows its smaller cousin, a northern comb jelly.
The cool footage was filmed by Aleksander Semenov in the White Sea in Russia.
"It doesn't have eyes or much brain for that matter. It detects its prey with its sensory system which is located around the mouth," Semenov said.
"As soon as it senses the victim getting close, it revs up, accelerates, rushes toward the food, and opens up into a huge bell shape," he added.
"The whole process can last from several seconds to several minutes and seeing this hunt live requires lots of luck and patience," he concluded.
