This mischievous Staffordshire bull terrier chewed through his seventh lead to his owner's disappointment.

A pet owner in the UK filmed the moment they found their dog with another chewed up lead in its mouth.

They told Newsflare: "Despite many dog trainers in his short life, my cute and funny Staffy is still very rebellious, and has been ever since he was a puppy.

"For the past year I have needed to buy his rope leads in bulk, as he started to chew them and they did not last very long.

"In the past month my very naughty, stubborn and rebellious Staffordshire bull terrier had chewed expertly through six rope leads and a retractable tape lead which only lasted for one walk.

"I have now reluctantly had to change to steel chain leads, but I am not confident that he will not bite off the handle or chew through the chains, despite the links being quite thick. So I have bought those leashes in bulk."

When he was a puppy and wanted to go for walks he used to steal my shoes and then spend ages tugging on them delaying his walks.

I am disabled and usually tie my dog to the post in my front garden whilst I drive my mobility scooter out of the house. Unfortunately my mischievous dog uses that very short time to chew his rope leads.

A couple of days ago I left my Staffy Terror in my lounge wearing the 6th rope lead in readiness for his walk, with his toys as a distraction to play with whilst I drove my mobility scooter outside. I did this because I was fearful that he would bite through the rope, freeing himself from the post and run in to road. In those couple of minutes, instead of playing with his toys, he shredded the rope lead, and showed no shame, no remorse and no sense, as he doesn’t seem to realize that he is putting his walkies at risk.
When asked, my naughty boy showed me how he damaged his lead and I told him that he would have to pay me ten pounds out of his PAWKET MONEY and sit on his naughty step.
