A police officer climbed down from the 11th-floor of a high-rise building to rescue a 4-year-old hanging from the 10th-floor balcony in eastern China.

The heroic video filmed in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on September 23 shows a fireman named Tang Wenjie tied by a safety rope climbing down from the 11th-floor to the 10th-floor balcony.

After Tang landed on the 10th-floor balcony, he carried the girl hanging from the balcony inside the flat.

According to reports, the girl's mother went to send another child to school in the morning and left the girl at home alone as she could not get up.

However, the girl climbed to the balcony and accidentally fell off.

Fortunately, the girl was rescued in time and she was not injured seriously.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
