A mother and a daughter tied lifebuoys on three main bridges in a city in southern China to try to help rescue more people.

The video was filmed in the city of Mianyang in Sichuan Province on September 22.

A girl was seen tying the lifebuoys with a sign saying "Life-saving equipment. Please do not take it away" in Chinese to the guardrails of a bridge.

According to the mother, she saw many people jumped off the bridge or accidentally fell into the river. Because there is no life-saving equipment, some could not be rescued in time.

So she and her daughter spent a day tying the lifebuoys they bought on three main bridges in the city to try to save more lives.
