Three terrorists were killed as army officials foiled an infiltration bid in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir on September 23. The incident took place in the Rampur sector near Uri area of Baramulla district.

Visual features recovered arms, ammunition, and weapons resting on the counter. Following this, the official provides details of the scene in a press meet. Later, the troops stand in line in front of the recovered items and pose for a photo.

The infiltration bid indicates Pakistan’s desperate attempt to sustain cross border terrorism and bring in weapons to orchestrate violent incidents in the valley. Besides, during the early hours of the day, a movement was observed in Hathlanga forest in Rampur sector. In a brief operation, the attempt was eliminated, with the neutralization of three terrorists.

Moreover, the officials recovered five AK rifles, seven pistols, one revolver, five AK magazines, 80 grenades, some food items and both Pakistani and Indian currency worth Rs 35,000 (USD 474.56) and Pakistani currency worth Rs 3,300 (USD 44.75) were among items recovered by the officials. This was the second infiltration attempt that was foiled by forces in the Uri sector in the last five days.
