A new coal-fired power plant is set to be built in Yokosuka and is slated to go online next year. If it really works, it will emit an appalling amount of 7.26 million tons of CO2 per year. These are greenhouse gases like CO2 that are accelerating global warming.

Today, the annual Friday For Future protests are taking place around the world. The protest that you see in the video is also timed to it. The protesters are holding up the signs with the letters up. The letters make up the phrase - "I cannot pretend that I do not see the crisis".
