'Massive group of Manta Rays swimming in a heavenly lagoon in Maldives '
'Breathtaking underwater footage taken in Baa Atoll, Maldives shows a squadron of manta rays hunting for food in the heavenly waters of Hanifaru Lagoon.
"During the rainy season, a large amount of plankton gets trapped in the lagoon, attracting hundreds of Manta Rays," the filmer stated. "The lagoon is an MPA and scuba diving is not allowed here anymore. However, snorkeling is more than enough to capture these insane moments."
The filmer further added that the best time of the year to swim with these stunning creatures is between June and November.
